On September 23rd, Jennifer Hudson will release her new album JHUD, and by the sound of all the singles released to date, it's about to be a very retro project. The R. Kelly-assisted "It's Your World" sounded almost disco-y, and now the new track "He Ain't Goin' Nowhere," produced by Pharrell in the height of his post-"Get Lucky" disco phase, is even more retro.
Despite all that old-school sound, Hudson still clearly wants to get on the radio, as she's recruited 2014 radio queen Iggy Azalea, whose music is a veritable guarantee to wind up in the top ten at this point.
