Chicago producer/rapper iLL Brown of TeamBackPack notoriety is working towards the release of a new EP called Don't Forget The Dope in the fall of 2017. Today, he released "Friends," a bittersweet tribute to friendship that features appearances from Freddie Gibbs, BJ the Chicago Kid, and G-Wiz. Brown's delicate, spare production imbues the track with nostalgia; Gibbs and G-Wiz remember old friends they lost to street violence.
