HNHH had a chance to catch up with Waka Flocka at the listening party for his new mixtape, and he talked about why he decided to release the fourth Salute Me Or Shoot Me mixtape at this time.
Last week Waka Flocka dropped his latest mixtape Salute Me Or Shoot Me Vol. 4: Banned From America, and HNHH was on hand for the exclusive listening party at Patchwerk Studio in Atlanta.
While talking to Waka, we asked him about what he’ll do when he reaches the two million followers plateau on Twitter, and what special track or event will he have for his friends to commemorate it. Waka answered simply, “whatever I feel like my fans is in need of.”
When asked why he decided to release the fourth instalment in his Salute Me Or Shoot Me series at this time, the Brick Squad rapper says he wanted to show he wasn’t afraid to produce more bangers in a short time, “I feel like I was running away from a bunch of people,” adding, “they was getting mad, they was starving.”
Producer Southside was on hand for the event, and while talking about current and upcoming collaborations, Waka mentioned how great it was to work with him, “Southside, got to work with ‘em this time, love it.”
