We haven't heard from rapper Hi-Rez in a minute, but that's about to change as he prepares to release a new mixtape on April 26th. Before he unleashes the mixtape, he's sent us this collaboration with Chris Webby and Futuristic to premiere.
The record came together organically, as Hi-Rez tells us, Webby reached out after seeing one of his records spread across on Facebook. "[He] gave me a call to tell me he was fucking with me! It was a just a real recognize real moment. As for the record in general, we all throwing out 90s references and vibes which is the idea of the tape in general. Nostalgia, 90s, throwback, and retro themed," Rez says. The mixtape is titled Never Say Die-- check back with us on the 26th for it, and expect more 90s-themed instrumentals and content.
