It's been a long minute since we heard from Toronto upstart Harvey Stripes. The rapper dropped off his last record in summer 2015, with a French Montana feature on "Paid 2." In the meantime, it appears he's been putting in work-- locking in more collaborations as he preps a new mixtape. Today he's ready to make his return, and enlists Yo Gotti on "For Real," an anthem for all the real ones out there.
The record features Gotti pretty heavily as he provides the hook and a verse, with trap-infused production coming from Canadian producer on the rise Murda Beatz (you should read our Behind the Beat with him here).
Yo Gotti just released his new album The Art of Hustle as well. Harvey's mixtape, In God We Trust, is set to drop on March 30th and will feature Fetty Wap, Snootie Wild and more.
