Red Bull Music Academy Festival has announced the initial slate of performances, lectures, and workshops that will run from April 29 through May 21 at various venues throughout New York City.
The event that will be of most interest to hip hop fans is an intimate acoustic performance by Gucci Mane & Zaytoven:
"Following Zaytoven’s appearance at last year’s Red Bull Music Academy Festival New York as part of our 'Trapped' double-header, we now present the next step in the evolution of both of these influential artists’ career. For one evening only, the rapper-producer duo will deliver throwback piano bar renditions of some of their most famous tunes – voice (Gucci) and piano (Zay) only."
