Although it is true that Future has had a relatively quiet 2016 compared to his monstrous 2015, he has already released three projects this year -- Purple Reign, EVOL, & Project E.T. Zaytoven recently confirmed that Future's long-awaited Beast Mode 16 is complete. “I was with Future maybe three weeks ago," Zaytoven said, "and he was saying, like, you know, ‘I want to keep recording songs, but if it came to it, I needed to drop right now, we done. I’m confident in what we got right now to drop another Zaytoven and Future project.'”
In a new interview with Billboard at the BET Hip Hop Awards, he revealed that the mixtape's first single, featuring Drake, is coming very soon. "We should be dropping a single within two weeks,” he said.
This spring, Zaytoven told HNHH that he and Future recorded "at least 100 songs" for the Beast Mode sequel. Judging by the length of the first Beast Mode -- nine songs -- they may be leaving as much as 90% of the Beast Mode 16 recordings on the cutting room floor.
