Harlem rapper Dave East just got his Twitter profile verified, and that's just as good a reason to drop a free track as any. "Gift Of God" is the song he chose to commemorate the occasion, and you can stream and download it below.
Presumably taken from his upcoming project Black Rose, "Gift of God" hits with a burst of cascading piano lines and crisp drums. Dave East spits with ferocity, letting outsiders know the gritty character of his hometown. He sets the much-debated "King of New York" question straight, saying "Frank White was the only King of New York." A strong outing for sure.
