Curren$y and Statik Selektah came through with their joint project Gran Turismo this past weekend, and fans are heralding the project as a return to form for the Southern lyricist. The project opens up with the track "Theme Music," which has just been blessed with the video treatment. With Cameron Po behind the camera, Curren$y and Statik vibe out in color warped landscapes while smoking on that good good.
Purple grass, purple trees, and bright white architecture give the video a very crisp pop that makes up for the lack of any real narrative direction. Curren$y and Statik keep it cool, calm, and relaxed over the mellow instrumental. This smoking anthem is best enjoyed with a paper plane in hand, but the vibes still play out immaculately if you don't.
