Rumors have been swirling the past few days that Lil Wayne's new boo thing is Christina Milian. The rumors were mainly driven by the two sitting side by side at the ESPYs, and holding hands together as they left the venue. Following this, if we backtrack a little, there is a hint at a relationship with Ms. Milian (or at least, the desire of a relationship) in Weezy's preview of "Tina Turn Up Needs A Tune Up" from his Weezy Wednesdays vlog.
Christina Milian broke off an engagement to Jas Prince, Rap-A-Lot Records' CEO, recently, which is something Wayne hinted at in "Tina Turn Up Needs A Tune Up." He raps,
"She need a king, fuck them princes / You’re a queen / Let’s have a princess...Oh, ya’ll just datin’? Well I’m still hating."
Now in a new interview, the singer is doing nothing to quell the rumors, revealing she's working on a mixtape titled Tina Turn Up, and that she's been working on several songs for Lil Wayne's Carter V (although she does say she's single in the clip).
"I've been working a lot on Lil Wayne's album, so I have a few records done for the new Carter V album. I think they're gunna be hot, I got to write the records too," she reveals. Later on she says, "I'm thinking of maybe doing a mixtape. I'm thinking of doing something fun and sexy, and some good party records. I might call it Tina Turn Up."
