Blended Babies recently dropped a song called "So Slow" with Anderson .Paak and King Chip. It was pretty smooth. But their new song "Make It Work" gives smooth a whole new meaning. Swirling, filtered, jazzy chords and a simple drum groove give the whole thing a gelatinous, feel-good vibe over which .Paak and Asher Roth are free to do their thing. Simple is beautiful.
Californian .Paak has been in the game for a hot second now. Between his prominent role on Dr. Dre's Compton and sublime tracks like "Make It Work," he's finally getting somewhere. The Anderson .Paak EP is out September 25th.
