Fireflies

Atmosphere drop off a smooth new jam, "Fireflies."

Atmosphere and Grieves come through with something new to bump on 4/20, although it's not your average smoke song. The record itself is smooth enough that any stoner can vibe with it, especially if it's starting off your day with a little wake and bake. However the lyrical content is a bit more mature and a bit more dense than a weed rapper could manage, and ultimately, it's not about weed at all.

Ant is on the boards, as per usual, while live instrumentation helps bring the record together. Slug and Grieves lay metaphors about the firefly lifestyle, while also noting observations of our mundane lives. Atmosphere wrote in the Soundcloud description, "Celebrate 420 and start your lonely spring season with our new jam." You heard them.

Quotable Lyrics

Last call for alcohol protocol
The television that's attached to the wall
It show a basketball game with the volume off
And I dunno who's playing
But I know I'm not

- Slug
