Aaron Cartier has been building up a fanbase on Soundcloud, although he's still pretty lowkey, even in terms of social media. Nonetheless it's likely that'll change soon, as the rapper delivers a full body of work, The Cartier, which is up for sale on iTunes. The project features collaborations with fellow Soundcloud-grown rappers, including Night Lovell on the closing cut "Damn I Guess Everything OK Now," produced by Dylan Brady.
Dylan Brady provides a beat that goes through some changes as the song progresses. It starts off with a screeching melody that lurches back and forth, getting moodier as it builds up with heavy synths and drums. By the time Night Lovell shows up, the beat has been paired down to slow-moving piano keys and bass. It's all about that moment when you realize shit is actually alright.
