Inside Of The Groove
Rittz Feat. E-40 & Mike Posner
Strange Music rapper Rittz may hail from Gwinett County, GA (Nawfside Atlanta), but if you had to put append a regional tag onto his last two singles "My Window" and "Propane," it would be Houston. Whether it be a funky wah guitar riff or a verse from Devin the Dude, there's been a distinct H-Town flavor to Rittz recent music.
Bad Bitch Alert
Red Cafe Feat. E-40
Last week, to spread the word for his latest tape, Dope God, Red Cafe shared a remix of Desiigner's ubiquitous hit "Panda." Today marks the arrival of Dope God, and HNHH is pleased to premiere two standout tracks off the tape before its 6pm release. Here's "Bad Bitch Alert," a tough club record featuring E-40.
Adrian Marcel Feat. Wale & E-40
It’s been a minute since we last heard from R&B singer Adrian Marcel, but with his debut album set to arrive later this Spring, that all changes here today. Recruiting MMG’s own Wale & fellow West Coast veteran E-40, Adrian decides to come through today and share his new party single “WAM.”
Statue Of Liberty
Philthy Rich Feat. E-40 & Nef The Pharaoh
Philthy Rich is ready to drop his album Real Niggas Back In Style at the end of this week. Before he does that, he shares one last single, "Statue of Liberty" feat. E-40 and Nef the Pharaoh.
E-40 Feat. Nef The Pharaoh & D.R.A.M.
Producer Rick Rock never made it *big time*, but he's been a Bay Area insititution for the last decade, the most reliable purveyor of slappers in the metropolitan area.
Wolfgang Gartner Feat. Dam-Funk & E-40
Wolfgang Gartner is an electronic DJ. However, as Flume has show recently, that doesn’t mean he can’t put together a funky crossover track. “Hurricane Slurricane” is just that.
Freddie Gibbs Feat. Gucci Mane & E-40
Tomorrow, November 20th, is the day that Freddie Gibbs drops Shadow of a Doubt. Having already shared “Fuckin’ Up the Count,” Packages feat.
E-40 Feat. Rayven Justice
After laying a slick verse on Ty Dolla $ign's huge new club record, "Saved," E-40 dropped a remix package for his biggest hit of the past year, "Choices," featuring guest spots from 50 Cent, Migos, Rick Ross, and many more.
Choices (Yup) (Remix)
E-40 Feat. Migos & Rick Ross
E-40's "Choices" is his biggest hit in some time, and just about everybody wants to get involved in it. He already shared the cameo-heavy video, but now he's delivered four separate remixes of the track ("Choices," get it?). The collaborators have been carefully curated, with complimentary artists getting paired accordingly. There's the melodic crossover (Kid Ink and French Monatana), the old head mix (50 Cent and Snoop Dogg), and the Houston tribute (Z-Ro, Kirkoo Bangz and Slim Thug).
Ty Dolla $ign Feat. E-40
With the clock striking midnight, Ty Dolla Sign’s highly anticipated debut album, Free TC, was made available for pre-orders on iTunes. The 16-track project will feature guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Diddy, Fetty Wap, YG, Wiz Khalifa, Future, Rae Sremmurd, and many more.
Baeza Feat. E-40
Baeza has been getting some California buzz, appearing with such Bay rappers as Roach Gigz, Baby Bash, & Clyde Carson and getting a cosign from none other than Kylie Jenner, who was bumping his track "Living It Up" on Snapchat.
Released last year, E-40's "Choices" is a track built around a unique formula: ending each line with an alternating chorus of either "nope" or "yup." Today, fellow Bay Area rapper Laroo tries his hand at the format. Remixed in honor of his home team, the Golden State Warriors, making the NBA Finals, this take on "Choices" is just as lyrically nimble as the original. A short list of some of the "yup"s and "nope"s in this one: Yup: R.I.P. The Jacka, masked robberies, curfews for women, not giving a fuck if rivals hate, "smoking on bud, no shake."
Young Scooter Feat. E-40 & Kid Ink
Young Scooter released his new mixtape on Wednesday night called Juggathon. Produced entirely by Zaytoven, the 11-track project features guest appearances from Future, Kid Ink, E40, Ralo, and more.
Choices (Warriors Remix)
While the Golden State Warriors await the winner of the Memphis Grizzlies & Portland Blazers series, Bay area’s own E-40 decides to pay tribute to his hometown team by liberating this new version of his track “Choices (Yup)”. Switching up the lyrics, E-40 delivers a witty set of bars that finds him name dropping every one on the team, from Steph Curry and Klay Thompson to Steve Kerr and Draymon Green. No word if this will be an official remix used at Oracle Arena, but it definitely could be. Check it out! Thoughts?
Give It All You Got
J Stalin & The World's Freshest Feat. E-40 & Droop-E
J. Stalin and The World's Freshest are teaming up once again for Real World 4, and they're bring a couple other OGs along for the ride. After hitting us with "I Got What You're Looking For" last week, the duo have shared yet another record full of classic Bay Area bounce, and they've tapped one of the region's most consistent voices to accompany them, as well as his blood descendant.
Young Sam Feat. Ty Dolla $ign, E-40 & Disko Boogie
Young Sam just dropped off his TRAPfornia 2 mixtape this morning, after putting it on hold for a minute and recruiting two of the West Coast's biggest DJs to host it- DJ Mustard and DJ Carisma. The project features fourteen records, with appearances from a bunch of West Coast staples, including, Ty Dolla $ign, E-40, Glasses Malone, AD, Disko Boogie and Joses Moses. On the chilled out cuffin' anthem "Choosey," Sam is helped along by a Ty Dolla hook and verses from both an California OG and a newcomer.
Young Lawless Feat. E-40
E-40 has been a great ambassador of the Bay Area sound, not only never compromising his approach, but also embracing the newer artists in the scene. A co-sign from 40 is an aspiration of many-a-rapper from the region, and Young Lawless earns his with "True Player", where he holds his own against 40, incorporating enough of the scene's history while bringing out a fresh new voice.
E-40 Feat. Boosie Badazz
A lot of rappers are lucky to release an album every two years. E-40 just dropped two in one day. The hardest working man in hip-hop (except for maybe Gucci Mane) returns to our front page today with "Money Sack." The record finds 40 Water linking up with the former Lil Boosie (current Boosie Badazz) for a slapper that's bound to please fans of the emcee's more radio-friendly hyphy singles.
Two days ago, E-40 announced his second tri-album (three albums released simultaneously). Entitled Sharp On All 4 Corners Parts 1 & 2, bonus disc included, the album arrives on December 9th, and today we've got the first taste. "Choices (Yup)" was just released on the Bay Area legend's SoundCloud.
Lyssi Feat. E-40
California's Lyssi makes her HNHH debut with “F*ck Boy,” a radio-ready new single featuring Bay Area legend E-40. Produced by JeremeJay, the track finds Lyssi attempting to filter out said "chumps" from her daily regime. 40-water, meanwhile, plays the role of mentor, detailing what separates a "real one" from the fakers.
