Yesterday was Zoe Kravitz's birthday and she celebrated with the wishes of a host of other famous people who also happen to be her immediate family. She shared a photo of herself and her mother looking strikingly similar with a bouquet of flowers and the simple caption: "pals."
In a recent interview, quoted in the Daily Mail, Kravitz described how, as a kid, having such a famous and similar looking mother was a little strange and could, at times, be a daunting thing to compare herself to: "'I had a really hard time when I was 16, 17, 18. Just loving myself. My mother’s a beautiful woman and I think, in some way, I felt intimidated by that sometimes."
Not only does Kravitz have a visual twin in her mother, she also has a birthday twin in Janell Monae. The two friends are born the same day and celebrated the coincidence on Facetime and let the rest of us know via Instagram:
