Zion Williamson was by far the best player in college basketball this year. He led the Duke Blue Devils to an appearance in the Elite Eight at the NCAA Tournament and although they didn't win it all, Zion proved himself as the best of his peers. This dominance culminated in his award for being the National College Basketball Player of the Year. With his teammates Cam Reddish and RJ Barrett declaring for the NBA draft, it was a surprise to pretty well no one when he announced today that he would be entering the NBA Draft this upcoming season, according to ESPN.

In a hype video reminiscent of the one Barrett dropped, Zion explains how thankful he was to play for the Duke Blue Devils and how he's excited to move onto the NBA. Zion has plenty to be excited about as many believe he is the frontrunner to be picked first overall. Barring some kind of drastic change in opinion, Zion's fate is all but sealed.

Now, all that needs to be determined is who exactly will be picking first overall. Oddsmakers have it being the New York Knicks, although it will all come down to the draft lottery.

Regardless, we're sure Zion will just be happy to finally live his dream.
