Louisiana artist Zack Villere is best known for making saucy R&B jams under the name Froyo Ma. Now operating under what is presumably his given name, he has released "Cool," a cool song about not being cool. Villere unpacks his insecurities over a fresh bed of synth-jazz harmonies.
The song is accompanied by a charming video in which our Jewfro'd hero showers with clothes on, skateboards, and performs other acts in his yellow coat before stripping down to his boxers in the park.
You can't tell me that I'm cool
I've always wanted to be cool
But I'm not that cool, that cool
I just wanna be cool
