Z-Ro's No Love Boulevard has been billed as his last album, which is unfortunate considering the many fresh ideas across the 14-track project (before we get too emotional about it, it's worth noting that the final track is called "He's Not Done"). Of course, most of the tracks are filled with melody, reminding us once again how influential the Houston rapper is to newer acts like Kevin Gates and Rich Homie Quan, but "They Don't Understand" is one of the moments where Z-Ro goes full R&B. A sample-based slow jam, the groove sets the rapper's bassy voice up to go full Isaac Hayes, and he's up to the task. It seems like Z-Ro still has a lot of great music in him, so we're hoping to hear more, but for now, we're happy to sit with this new set of songs. Listen to it in full here.
