Yung Lean does justice to a "Stranger" highlight in "Red Bottom Sky."

In case you missed it, Swedish rapper Yung Lean delivered his excellent and melodic Stranger album, which yielded the standout single "Red Bottom Sky." Today, Leandoer is back with an official video for the whimsical track, and it picks up where the surreal narrative of his Stranger short film left off. Lean has certainly evolved as an artist since his inception back in 2012, where he amassed widespread internet attention with his viral "Ginseng Strip 2002" video. And while many were quick to write him off as a "meme" rapper, Stranger has proven that there's more to the young artist than meets the eye.

If you're skeptical, look no further than "Red Bottom Sky." With some beautiful cinematography from Daniel Tackas, the clip finds Lean reflecting in a fog-drenched moor, before moving into an ancient, Gothic inspired manor. There's something so engaging about Lean's blend of hip-hop braggadocio and folkloric influences that makes him one of the game's most compelling and slept on artists. What did you think about Stranger?
