Coming off his contribution to Future’s curated-SuperFly soundtrack with “Bag,” fast-rising ATL rapper Young Bans decided to return to the scene today and release the 5th installment in his self-titled EP series today. Led by the previously heard single “Ridin,” which just saw its video drop yesterday, the 8-track project features guest appearances from YBN Nahmir, Tracy, Landon Cube, and Juice WRLD, the latter of which appears on this song right here called “Round” which we’re highlighting for y’all.
Over some kickin’ drums & piano keys, Bans rides the pocket of the beat and shows off a laid back delivery, rapping about stacking his bread and baggin’ bitches in the process. Whereas Juice WRLD delivers his signature melodic vocals with some added effects and raps about DTF girls at the club who be falling in love with him. “She say she in love, I don't give no fucks/ Met her in the club, she was DTF; down to fuck/ .40 on me, had to light 'em up, line 'em up,” Juice spits.
