Young Thug Supports Lil Wayne: "I'm With U For Life"

Young Thug and Lil Wayne have shared a complicated relationship in the past, but early Monday morning Thug joined the chorus of rappers vocalizing support of Wayne after Wayne revealed that he felt “defenseless and mentally defeated" and hinted at retirement.

"I promise I'm holding u down no matter what," Thug wrote, "fuck the world and what they thinkfeel I'm with u for life, ur the reason I rap."

He continued in a second tweet: "I just wish u could love me the way I love u big bro… ur my idol for life and I hope ur sorry for bashing me, not knowing how much I love u." 

Lil Wayne explained that he "ain't lookin for sympathy, just serenity." Hopefully Thugger's loving tribute can help him find a bit of serenity.
