Last month, we conducted an interview with Jerrika Karlae, now known as simply Karlae, as she appears set to begin her music career. She's been around Young Thug for years, dating the On The Rvn artist on-and-off, and now she's gearing up to make an impact of her own. It all started with her feature on Thugger's YSL compilation project, Slime Language, where Karlae made her official introduction to the world on "U Ain't Slime Enough." The head of YSL is now teasing her upcoming moves, claiming that the label is taking over "life" with their next song.
Thug took to Instagram to share a trailer for Karlae's upcoming single. The song is only previewed shortly at the end but the music video looks like a lot of work is being put into it. The track features Rich The Kid and the production is cinematic, to say the least. We're met with scenes of a crime with a group of women running out of a building with guns, making their way to a drop-top car. Probably not the most convenient choice for a getaway vehicle but we'll wait until the full clip is released to judge. They're then led on a pursuit as Karlae & Co. try to escape the cops.
There's no current timetable for when we can expect "Rich Bxtch" to drop but considering the crew is already previewing the video, it should be soon.
