Thugger made good on his promise to drop Slime Season 2 tonight. Most of the features on the tape are up-and-comers from either YSL or Bankroll Mafia, but the one that immediately stands out comes from Thug's former partner-in-crime, Rich Homie Quan. Yep, Rich Gang is back, and they've brought back London on da Track for "Never Made Love," recreating the magic the trio concocted on Tha Tour: Part 1.
We were unsure about the state of things between Thug and Quan, so hopefully Quan's placement on SS2 signals that all is good between the members of the duo once posited as the next OutKast. Though, versions of the collab have been out for almost a year, so maybe not. The version we have now is a beauty, and though Quan only lends background vocals for most of the track, it's a reminder of how good their unorthodox flows sound next to each other. Over the immersive London beat, Thug laments about a long-lost woman to whom he was never able to make love.
