Young Thug recently expressed his desire to pick up where his hero Lil Wayne left off with Tha Carter series, and he's definitely making a good attempt at matching Weezy's mixtape run in sheer output. Like Wayne, Thug seemingly has new music coming out at all times, and its not always clear when it was recorded, or where it's intended to land.
"Lakers" is the most recent track to fit this description, and seeing that it was recorded with OG Boo Dirty, we're gonna say this one wasn't recorded all that recently. With that being said, it's got plenty of what is drawing people to Thug right now-- deceptively catchy refrains, clever quips, and star power.
