A highlight off the FBG rapper's "Disrespectful" project.

Casino has always been an underrated force in Atlanta rap, which -- considering he had the strongest verse on "Move That Dope -- is surprising. When the rest of Atlanta was experimenting with auto-tune, Casino stuck with the tried-and-true Flockavellian yell-rap. It wasn't the trendiest decision, but it meant that he ended up occupying a lane that became his own, and he's now a master of it. A good four years after "Move That Dope," he's expanded his repertoire -- on "Pop Shit," he's down right understated, riding the Zaytoven-esque beat with a nonchalance that would make Young Scooter jealous. One thing that hasn't changed -- his ties run deep. Future, 21 Savage, and 21 Savage all make appearances, but here, it's Young Thug, whose appearance over such a classic Atlanta beat feels like a throwback. He uses the space of the beat expertly, taking pauses that sometimes seem too long until you realize he's using them strategically to switch up his flow from bar to bar. Listen to Disrespectful, the new tape from Casino, here.

Quotable Lyrics:
I was 17 with a 40 on my hip
You a damn shame
You ain't got a hundred thousand
If I ever go broke
I'm taking mine back
Ten times that
I had to triple up the stacks
