At the beginning of the year, Young Thug claimed that he wouldn't release any new music this year in honor of his deaf brother. While the news was unfortunate for fans, many applauded the noble deed. A few weeks a go, the rapper released his latest project, Hear No Evil which included three collaborations with the likes of 21 Savage, Nicki Minaj and Lil Uzi Vert. Now, he's followed that with an official release for his song "Ooou."
Young Thug returns with his latest song, "Ooou." A leaked version of the song surfaced earlier in the week before getting an official release earlier today. According to Genius, the song was reportedly from one of the Beautiful Thugger Girls sessions. Thugger taps London On Da Track for the production on the track. The two of them have proven to have great chemistry together on each track and "Ooou" is no exception. It's a little bit more on the pop side, more so than trap, but it's catchy hook and bouncy beat will have you vibing out.
The influx of new music from Thug should excite fans as he's scheduled to perform at several festivals this summer. He recently performed at The Smokers Club and he's also been announced for performances at Bumbershoot Festival as well as Lost Lake Festival.
