Young Scooter doesn't need features, but that doesn't stop him from wanting them. Such is indeed the case on the Recipe highlight "No Features," which finds the Atlanta rapper linking up with Kodak Black. Of course, who can blame him, given Kodak's own ever-building momentum? In any case, Scooter acquaints himself favorably over the guitar-driven instrumental, riding the groove with finesse. The rapper's clever pan game is well appreciated, as he spits bars like "probably get a bonus everytime he fly in, all I do is work I'm a real Black Mexican."

Kodak holds it down for the song's latter half, wasting little time in establishing his authenticity as a narrator. Given the depth and nuance shown on Dying To Live, it's a bit jarring to hear Kodak back on his BS, as it were. Yet every so often, one must be given room to stunt on occasion. Be sure to check out "No Features," which features a feature, below. What do you think of this one?

Quotable Lyrics

I got rich n***a problems, and I gotta feed my people
I know that you got your connect, but all my work a little cheaper
Bought a truck load, all 65 back hands
Direct deposit, I don't ever see the front ends
Probably get a bonus every time he fly in
All I do is work, I’m a real black Mexican
