DJ Khaled may have recently been appointed the new face of Weight Watcher's, but Brooklyn's Young M.A. has certainly been looking slimmer of late. Recently, the young emcee took to Instagram to share her new look, as well as discuss the lifestyle changes she made in order to step up her health game. And no, she didn't sweat it out after spitting three minutes of fire on "Walk," which featured one of 2017's hardest verses.

In a lengthy post, M.A. went into detail about her weight loss, stressing the importance of discipline and mental preparation:

"To all my supporters that keep saying I lost weight.. yes it was on purpose lol I’ve stop eating meat (beef, pork, chicken, turkey, lamb...)," a svelte-lookingM.A wrote in the caption for her Instagram post. "I cut my liquor intake into “occasionally only” lol.. I’ve been in the gym consistently... and I’ve been watching my calorie intake.. it was discipline for me of course. In 2 months I’ve dropped 20 pounds.. Always wanted to change my diet but wasn’t mentally ready for it at first.. Honestly since I’ve changed my diet I’ve been less exhausted.. I wake up with full energy.. and also mentally I feel good... I just want to say to all my supporters if you are not happy with anything in your life you have the power to change it! Only you! I love you all! God bless! More music on the way btw! Let’s get it! 😤💪🏽 #2018 #YoungMA #🔴Lyfe."

Dropping twenty pounds in two months is one hell of an accomplishment, and M.A. deserves props for taking the steps to get healthy. She also teases some new music, so it wouldn't be surprising to see the emcee come through with a project in 2018.
