It appears Nardwuar, the human serviette, interviewed every single rapper/artist that was down in Austin Texas a couple weeks ago for SXSW, or damn near close to it feels like. Following the likes of Desiigner, Snoop Dogg, Trae Tha Truth, Sonny Digital, Ugly God, and even Zane Lowe to name a few, next up in Nardwuar’s interview series is Yo Gotti.
Taking on the most entertaining interviewer in the game, the king of Memphis talked about learning math through the art from of rap from his 5th grade teacher, selling CD’s in ziplock baggy's, hometown legends like Three 6 Mafia, meeting producer Drumma Boy at local gas stations to buy beats, and more. He even talked about how his hit song “Down In The DM” came together after eating at DJ Khaled’s Finga Licking restaurant.
