Cash Money/Young Money has announced a brand new partnership with legendary DJ Funkmaster Flex for a brand new website and mobile application. Going by the title "Stunnalife," the app/website combo will serve as the official destination for all things related to Cash Money/Young Money.
“We have moved more than 500 million records worldwide since 1998, and we have decided to partner with Flex to move the company further in the digital arena,” said Birdman, CEO of Cash Money Records.
Flex, who currently operates as the owner of HOT 97, is notable in the digital world for building his own InFlexWeTrust.com, a general urban news site that receives three million unique visitors per month. The InFlexWeTrust app, meanwhile, has had more than 500,000 downloads since it launched last year. “I’m excited to partner with Birdman on this venture. He has built one of the biggest machines in music, and he creates superstars, so moving forward together is a no-brainer,” explained Flex.
The partnership will find Flex creating and guiding the overall technology for the website while Birdman and company stick to doing what they do best: making music.
The new Stunnalife.com and the Stunnalife App will be up and running in Fall 2014.
