YK Osiris found a lot of success with his debut single "Valentine." The recent Def Jam signee follows up his first single with another slow jam "Timing." YK sounds like he has already matured since his last release. His vocals are more assertive and land with more impact this time around, as he sings about missed opportunities in love. His tone is grittier and holds more inflections of emotion. The Jacksonville native seems to be carving out a particular space for himself in the RnB landscape with this solid track. It's in the same lane as the first one, but comes out swinging. Mr. Valentines also offers fans a music video for the new track. They have been waiting for new music patiently, so they deserve all the love. "Valentine" dropped a few months ago, which seems to be considering a long time in this digital age. Back in May, Lil Uzi hopped on YK's breakout track. The "Valentine" remix is available for streaming here.
