In the wake of drops from Smokepurpp, J.I.D, Ski Mask The Slump God, Stefflon Don, Wifisfuneral, and Lil Pump, YBN Nahmir has come through with his official XXL Freshman Freestyle. "My mom tatted on my arm cause she mean a lot, I ain't never had no dad, never had no pops," raps Nahmir, "I was always on that block, clutching on that glock."

Opting for a straightforward flow, Nahmir continues to paint a vivid picture of his struggle. "My bro passed away, I was sixteen, had to get off my ass and get up in them streets," he raps. "We ain't ever have no water in that fuckin' sink." It's a darker look than fans might be accustomed to from Nahmir, who wears his come-up on his sleeve throughout.

As it stands, J.I.D currently sits at the top of the class, and Nahmir's solid, yet somewhat unremarkable effort puts him somewhere in the middle. One wonders if he'll be better suited for the eventual instrumental cypher, as his flow seems tailor made for a bouncy beat. One has to wonder if his group-mate YBN Cordae will be in his position by this time next year. Peep the video below, and stay tuned Trippie Redd and BlocBoy JB, still forthcoming.
