Yakki has made inroads into the Atlanta rap scene over the course of the last couple years on the strength of 2015's Load Da Klip, 2016's Yakkstick, and his collaborations with artists like Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, and 21 Savage. Yesterday, he kicked off his 2017 campaign by releasing a new 8-song mixtape titled My Street Different. It is comprised of original reworks of such songs du jour as Drake's "Fake Love" and 21 Savage's "X Bitch" as well as straight-ahead freestyles over existing beats like YFN Lucci's "Key to the Streets."
