In the words of Akademiks, the fuckery is afoot. At this point, it's honestly hard to keep track of the ongoing Instagram exchanges between Trippie Redd and 6ix9ine, who have been firing shots at one another for a minute now. Recently, Trippie put both Tekashi and XXXTentacion on blast over their ongoing legal issues; for the record, we were under the impression that Trippie and X were once again on good terms. Friendship is temporary these days, or so it would seem.

While X waited a minute before ultimately weighing in, he eventually released a lengthy video explaining his perspective on the ongoing feud. For those following X, you're probably aware that the rapper is doing his best to stay positive, putting his dark past behind him; on the surface, it appears to be working. The aforementioned Akademiks has shared a clip of X's response, which finds the rapper in a reflective and eloquent state. Praising both artists, he implores that they quell the childish bickering and double down on bettering their own careers.

"Both of them are good artists," says X. "Both of them can have longevity in their careers, if they just understand how to deal with the situation and how to be men. I just wanted to address it in the best way possible. My thing is to you guys, leave this conversation alone, be the best artists that you guys can be, do something for the community."

Check out a lengthy portion of X's response below.
