Drake recently previewed a new song on tour, experimenting with a different flow people say sounds like up-and-coming rapper XXXTENTACION's on his single "Look At Me." Though the South Florida rapper isn't mad at Drake supposedly biting his style, he would have liked some sort of acknowledgement.
"He could have reached out to me personally and spoken to me and it definitely would have been more respectable. But he dropped that preview and it sounded a bit like “Look At Me” and he could be a huge, huge help in this situation to get me out of jail, because I’m facing life. So that’s just how I feel," he told XXL.
The 19-year-old Pompano Beach rapper, currently sits behind bars in Broward County Jail on six felony charges across two jurisdictions. X's former girlfriend claimed that he beat her for cheating on him. He's accused of fracturing the pregnant woman's nose and jaw, causing nerve damage, and leaving her blind in one eye.
X and his people claim she is lying; that she was jumped. They say she's using the incident for money. His predicament coupled with his raw talent has acquired him a cult following though.
