Last week, XXXTentacion dropped off two brand new tracks to tease his upcoming album and, we have to say, both of them were fire. While the two have gotten people intrigued in what X could be planning musically, "Sad!" has seen the most success between both. Right on cue, Kylie Jenner came through on Snapchat, posing for the camera while mouthing a few of the lyrics. It appears as though she is only comfortable with a handful of the words as she struggles her way through the lyrics. Regardless, it's a nice gesture and a big up for XXXTentacion who has battled through constant scrutiny and controversy.
X reposted the video, adding the caption, "I appreciate you @kyliejenner." The new mom's music taste has been well-documented as her fans often jump to mimic whatever she's listening to, which could mean a spike in ratings for "Sad!" Kylie is incredibly influential among young women, garnering over 105 million Instagram followers and becoming a household name along with her sisters. A cosign from Kylie may not seem like a big deal to hardcore rap aficionados but in the big scheme of things, X can see his popularity grow from the shoutout.
X is currently working on several projects, hinting at Skins, Bad Vibes Forever, and ?, with the latter album being home to "Changes" and "Sad!" Check out the video below.
