Wyclef Jean and Young Thug share a mutual admiration. Thugger named the leadoff track of JEFFERY after the Haitian legend and collaborated with him on "Kanye West," which appeared later in the album. Jean recently had the following to say about Thug: "He reminded me of a modern Tupac, in a sense—in a revolutionary sense.”
Later today, Jean will premiere a song on Ebro's Beats 1 show. It will presumably be J'ouvert EP single "I Swear" feat. Young Thug, a song that just surfaced and sparkles as bright as the sun-kissed, aquamarine waters of the Caribbean. Don't be surprised if you hear it on the radio in the coming months.
