WWE has officially announced that Brock Lesnar's opponent for SummerSlam at the Barclay's Center on August 21st will be "The Viper" Randy Orton.
Despite being two of the biggest names in the company, The Beast Incarnate and The Apex Predator have only competed against each other once and that was back in 2002, according to WWE.
Lesnar hasn't appeared on WWE since Wrestlemania in April but he'll be fighting Mark Hunt at UFC 200 this Saturday so now was as good a time as any to build some hype around his return to the squared circle.
Orton has also been out of action since November, due to a shoulder injury which surely will be put to the test in Suplex City next month. It'll be interesting to see how Brock Lesnar is booked moving forward depending on the outcome of his fight this Saturday at UFC 200.
