Will.i.am has signed a deal to get more projects in the form of film and television on his resume. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Black Eyed Peas member has inked a deal with Entertainment One to create, develop and executive produce upcoming projects. His first set of business will be turning graphic novel Masters of the Sun — The Zombie Chronicles into a TV series.
"Masters of the Sun mixes L.A. gang culture, b-boy-ism and Egyptology to tell the story of a hip-hop group from East L.A. who must battle an ancient alien god that turns drug dealers and gangsters into zombies," the publication notes.
"Will.i.am has an extensive track record of creating entertainment content that moves masses and shapes cultural moments,” eOne chief strategy officer Peter Micelli said. “We have long admired his body of work and can’t wait to collaborate on exceptional content together.”
Will.i.am calls the link up a "dream come true" and we can't wait to see what else he has to offer outside of the music world.
