The royal wedding is a stone’s throw away, and it’s about to be one of the biggest moments in pop culture. Why exactly? Well, HBO, Will Ferrell and MollyShannon are all involved. The two actors, in character as satirical broadcasters Cord Hosenbeck and Tish Cattigan, are set to host the network’s live coverage of the event, taking place this Saturday. “We are really looking forward to it.” Shannon (as Cattigan) said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The two had Fallon crying with laughter, as they seemed clueless about the UK, or anything outside of America for that matter. After musing on everything from taking wedding photos to feminist issues – it’s Farrell (as Hosenbeck) “choice” to be single, just as it’s a woman’s “choice” not to date him – and spoke about their fascination with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, because isn’t it true?

After their crazy sit-down interview, Fallon got Cattigan and Hosenbeck to perform their song. “Far off in a foreign land/where lords and ladies dance/there lived a sad and lonely prince/who dreamed of true romance.” Sang Hosenbeck. “From a land across the mighty sea/a lovely maiden came/she was a true American/and Megan was her name.” The song goes on to paint a wild picture about the impending nuptials. After confetti and a whole lotta mess, Hosenbeck broke into a sax solo. This is the wedding of the century.

Ferrell and Shannon will cover Meghan Markle and Prince Harry getting hitched on May 19, as their satirical broadcast characters Cord Hosenbeck and Tish Cattigan. Will you be tuning in?
