Wiki's understated charm remains one of New York's secret weapon, like a race of subterranean mole-people. Underground in nature, Wiki's brand of lyricism feels like a dying art in today's climate, though that's not to say it goes unappreciated. 2017's No Mountains In Manhattan remained one of the year's sleeper hits, a strange voyage to the streets of the Big Apple, delivered through Wiki's intricate pen and adherence to realism. While today's drop may lack the polish (and polish is an overstatement) of No Mountains, it picks up where Wik's latest left off insofar as the gritty aesthetic is concerned.

"WIKI NEW WRITTEN 4," the fourth installment of an ongoing series put forth by WIKSET ENTERPRISE, finds the rapper spitting bars into a night-vision camera. Taking to some vintage-sounding woodwinds, Wiki goes off, warning foes "I get petty when it's hot, I'm a yeti when it's cold, are you ready or you not?" While some might be put off by the DIY nature, others understand that such is part of Wiki's ultimate vision, which in turn cements himself as the last of a dying breed.

Quotable Lyrics

You the feddies tryna get my spot blown
I be back, call me Benny Blanco
Wikset Enterprise, it's the heady-huncho
I'm paid froze man I hate the po's
