Earlier this week, fans were highly excited to receive new music from Wifisfuneral. The Florida emcee has been on a heavy grind and was gearing up to feed fans the follow up to 2017's Boy Who Cried Wolf. The rapper previously announced the project would be dropping tomorrow but unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case. His manager, Tariq Cherif, has announced that the release date for Ethernet Vol. 1 has been pushed back.

Unfortunately for Wifisfuneral fans, you're going to have to wait a bit longer before you end up getting a new project from the rapper. His manager Tariq has revealed the project will be dropping on June 8th. He said that the project is done but like most rap albums, sample clearance and sorting out things with some of the featured artists need a bit more time.

"1st, thanks for being some of the best fans. We're postponing Ethernet until June 8th. It's done, but we need time to clear samples/features. I'm sorry but trust me, it's worth the wait!" he wrote.

His forthcoming project, Ethernet Vol. 1 will be the first of four installments. The rapper revealed the news on Twitter around the same time he announced the initial release date for the project. Hopefully, we'll end up getting a new single or something to hold us over until then.
