Out of all the rappers on this years XXLFreshman List, Wifisfuneral believes that he's the one that people are going to question the most.

It doesn't seem like he really needs to worry so much about that, considering just how Florida-centric this year's list has been, but that means he probably knows better than anybody what his standing is in comparison to the others.

Moving from the Bronx to Florida was a blessing in disguise for Wifi, as he claims that there was no youthful rap scene in the state when he was coming up. That is, until artists like him, XXXTentacion, and Ski Mask The Slump God started the Florida "Soundcloud Rap" movement that we're experiencing to this day.

Still, Wifi is remaining humble, because he knows how hard he had to work just to get to where he is today. He details how he had no home to speak of, living from hotel to hotel or on his friends' floors. As a child, he says he used to stack XXL magazines and tell himself that one day he was going to be on the cover himself. Well, his hard work paid off, and he's lived his dream of making the Freshman list.

The video shows off some footage of his upcoming cypher, and it seems that he will be joined by fellow freshman YBN Nahmir and Stefflon Don. Check out his video interview below, or stream his recent project, Ethernet. Vol 1 to get a better sense of his music.
