It was during a court hearing on Friday that XXXTentacion was arrested after a judge concluded that the South Florida rapper violated conditions of his bond from his 2016 arrest. Currently, the "Look At Me" rapper faces seven felony charges that include witness tampering, in relation to his case involving the aggravated battery of a pregnant woman. Right now X, born Jahseh 'Jah' Onfroy, will remain behind bars without bail up until his trial date.

Such an outcome has resulted in a frenzy on the internet with many weighing in on the implications of X's role in the assault of women with some people even voicing their support of the young emcee. One of the more surprising surprising names to find themselves in the latter was rapper Wifisfuneral, whose distancing from XXXTentacion previously led many to speculate that a rift existed between the two artists.

"I look at times like these and wish you and me were as close as we use to be," Wifi penned in an emotional caption addressed to his fellow Members Only brother. "Because you was dead ass my brother and I never judged you no mater [sic]what my opinion on the things as men we were tryna do to figure out our lives. ...It’s the moments like these that’s always make me remember why I got MO on me. Free jah."

Clearly the contention we assumed existed couldn't prove to be strong enough to keep the two artists apart. Catch Wifi's full post below.
