Logic breaks down the...logic behind his decision to change his album title. The mixed-race rapper had formerly titled his third album AfricAryaN, stating that “it's about me being black and white, and seeing life from two sides." The title was ultimately met with mixed reactions, developing an aura of controversy due to its racially charged connotations.

Yesterday, Logic surprised fans by releasing a trailer for his upcoming album, now titled Everybody. In a recent interview with Hard Knock TV, Logic defends the former title, stating "I feel pulled in either direction. Black folk who don't realize I'm mixed will treat me like some racist person, when white people find out I'm black they treat me with racism...but as I created the album, it became less and less about me, and more about everybody else."

Catch Everybody when it drops on May 5th.
