Battle rap is quickly growing as a culture. What was almost completely relegated to street corners and YouTube a few years ago has garnered national recognition, more TV programming, and even Pay-per-view events. Hip-hop icons like Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Drake have put on battle rap events, and at this rate, the scene can only continue to expand. That being the case, we’re here to keep you updated on all things battle rap. Now is a great time to join the culture.

On today’s edition of What’s New In Battle Rap, we’ve got battles from various leagues (as always) and battles of many different styles. So if you can’t get into the aggression of Danny Myers vs Gjonaj, maybe Shuffle T vs Carter Deems is more your speed. We’ve got something for everybody. And we’ve got a retirement announcement that could change battle rap in a big way.
