Wendy Williams became a global trend the other week, when photos surfaced of the media personality enjoying a vacation out in Barbados, appropriately dressed for the weather -- wearing a black bikini and oversized pink Gucci shades. The photos caught the attention of the internet, and the internet of course did not hesitate to go in and pick apart any and every thing that might be wrong with Wendy Williams figure.
Among the masses reacting to Wendy Williams' beach body, was Tip. T.I. took to his Instagram to throw up photos of Wendy and left a lengthy message alongside them:
"Ok now as much shit as this sister talk about people... (Myself included) I know what y'all expect. But I'm not gon do the obvious & fye her ass up. NOPE!!! I'm gon be respectful because regardless of her flaws she's still a independent black business woman that's had to fight her way through life to get where she is. JUST LIKE THE PEOPLE SHE JUDGES DAILY!!! But I'm gon try something new & different this time. Let's see if the power of mercy moves her heart to not be so malicious & vindictive in the future when she's speaking on the lives of other strangers when they're going through their own PERSONAL tough times. That's my approach... let's see."
Whatever T.I.'s intentions, most saw it as a slight towards Wendy, and Wendy, who has since returned to American soil and launched a new season of her TV show, offered a response to T.I. while talking to the NY Daily News.
"I was just in Barbados with my husband on vacation," she told the gossip site. "The paparazzi caught me. T.I. referenced my lack of behind."
She continued about her would-be response, which, now basically is her response: "I wanted to say ‘I could buy one like your wife and so many people have done,’ I could buy one any day. It's flat."
She also addressed some of the claims Tip was a proponent of in his IG post: "I’m not as shady as people think that I would be in real life. I do this for work. I did the scene of pop culture. When it comes to being a good friend and holding a secret, you're looking at her, believe it or not."
