These days, it seems like Wendy Williams has been making the news for her various feuds with rappers like T.I. & 50 Cent. Today, however, the notorious talk show host has been making headlines for a different reason, leaving many feeling a conflicted mix of emotions. During a live airing of her talk show this Halloween morning, Williams, while dressed in an elaborate Statue Of Liberty costume, ended up passing out. It must have been alarming for anyone watching, as seeing Williams collapse in real time was a strange and surreal affair. If you can't catch the video right now, Williams basically passes out mid-sentence, looking first confused, then horrified before hitting the ground to the sound of gasps from her audience. Some speculated that she had just received word that Offset, 21 Savage, and Metro Boomin had released Without Warning during the night.

The show immediately cut to a commercial, and giving time to regain her composure. Ultimately, Williams took it like a trooper, returning to her feet and finishing the show. "That was not a stunt. I overheated in my costume I did pass out," she said. "But you know what, I'm a champ and I'm back." She proceeds to announce the winners of her costume contest, a rather anticlimactic rendition of "daytime TV."

While the fire department did ultimately show up at the studio, it appears that their services weren't exactly needed. Regardless of how you feel about Williams, it's hard to imagine how it feels to faint, especially on live TV. While Wendy has developed a bit of a reputation as a villain in the hip-hop community, we wish the all the best in her recovery.
