It’s been a minute since we last heard from Webbie, but on Wednesday the Baton Rouge rapper was back in the headlines after being arrested for an alleged domestic dispute in a hotel room with his girlfriend TMZ reports.
Police told TMZ that Webbie reportedly choked his 25-year old girlfriend, hit her, and refused to let her leave the room for more than two hours. Law enforcement also say the woman had visible bruising around her neck and face, bad enough that she was taken to the hospital.
Webbie was arrested but apparently complained of some medical issue, so he was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was cleared by doctors and eventually taken to jail.
Webbie has been charged with second degree battery, false imprisonment, and domestic abuse by strangulation, all of which are felonies by the way. We’ll continue to keep you posted moving forward.
