HNHH PREMIERE: Watson struggles to tell dream from reality in his video for his warm R&B record.
L.A. singer Watson has been gaining momentum with his last few releases. The 25-year-old recently opened for Post Malone on the sold out L.A. dates on the Stoney tour, adding some clout to his growing streams. A close collaborator of DJ Swish, who produced much of YG's critically-acclaimed sophomore album Still Brazy, Watson teams with the beatmaker (and Post Malone producer Cashio) on "Confident," a swelling R&B gem that gets an official video today. The songwriter finds himself in conflicting settings in the clip, which begins on an operating table. Hallucinations and reality intertwine as the singer is strapped up in a straight jacket and hospital gown as confetti pours down around him. Later on, a woman appears in Watson's bed with him, but once again, not everything is as it seems.
The song is set to appear on his upcoming project Rosé, which is still without a release date.
